Environmental Commitment

Jan Soloy and her husband Patrick Meyers are committed environmentalists who endeavor to “walk their talk”.  Jan’s office cabinetry was made by Patrick of sustainably harvested local Western Alder.  They are finished with a natural vegetable based oil and wax, applied by hand. 

The paints used in the office are all no VOC (volatile organic compounds) so there is no “off-gassing” polluting the air. 

Attention to detail was employed from the choice of exam gowns (organic cotton) to the exam table, which was made in California by Earthlite of sustainable and non-polluting materials.

Our printed materials by BE Printing utilize high-quality recycled papers with 80% post-consumer fiber.  BE Printing uses digital printing technologies with a low environmental impact: the inks come in reusable containers, and the press does not require solvents for cleanup.
